Jason Mraz...The Natural
This is a great Jason Mraz Performance. The Flute added to the band is a perfect compliment to Jason's voice. It adds a cool, loose jazziness to the entire show. The version of "So Unusual" here is the best I've heard. There's a great version of "Curbside Prophet", a playful "White Girl", a psychotically, caffeine drenched fast version of "You and I Both" that I could not believe they pulled off. And they made it look easy. The final "When You Wish Apon A Star" is a masterpiece of improvisational fun that will make you feel good every time you listen to it. Most enjoyable!

a loud acoustic recording at java joe's..
the downside of java joe's going completely acoustic for a while was that it made taping incredibly difficult. this recording, however, was taped from the front of the room, so vocals and instruments are heard loud and clear. the set was shortened due to the evening being shared with other musicians, but it's definitely worth a listen.
